No I have the same graphics card 512mb though and I have DDR SDRAM 1GB the only thing you need to know is if your Power Supply is 450 watts or more recommened for it.

No when it says ddr2 it is referring to the type of ram that is on the video card. My video card actually has GDDR3 ram, but my computer is only DDR.

no thats just the type of memory it uses. Most computers have ddr2 memory neways
