It really depends on the size and species, also it depends on their movement. For example they have several different land movement patterns (gait, gallop, etc). However on avg they can run around 12-14kph.
They more or less move on land three ways:
1: The belly crawl... you see this most often when they are close to shore and are able to move over wet grass and mud. Kinda like a slip-and-slide.
2: The high walk... this is when they are walking as tall as they can, in doing this they save their belly from rubbing against rocks and rougher land.
3: The gallop... you do not see this too often and it is when the front leg move together then the back together.
Mostly when running you see the first two.

A croc can go up to 30 mph in short bursts on land. These however will only last as long as they cna hold their breath, bc they do not breathe when they run. SO a motocycle can beat a croc. A cheetah however can go 70 mph. A since it is natural because there hip are connected to the spine, this can last a while. SO a cheetah can beat a motorcycle. Well, that of course is depending how how quickly the motorcycle cna accelerate and how fast the motorcycle can go.
