Well I am from Cleveland and I used to go to Cedar Point every year with my family growing up. I love CP, if you like roller coaster you will LOVE it too. I hope you are going for more than one day because there is soo much to do there you won't be able to fit it all in. There are a lot of hotels around CP but the Breakers is like the best place to stay because it is located in the park and its right by a back entrance that normally moves really quickly. You'd want to get a map and just figure out what rides you all are interested in getting on and try to move according to the rides. (Like the Gemini is near the Blue Steak, you wouldn't want to say you're going on the Gemini then the Mean Steak because that's way over in Frontier Town!) You can wait in line for up to 2.5 hours, there is a new roller coaster at the park this year so if you want to get on it you would want to get there as early as possible. Check the weather because any kind of rain possibility can shut certain rides down. There is a really nice train ride that I like to go on its in Frontier Town, also on really hot days there I like to sit in the movie theater, I can't think of the name, but it shows documentaries that last like 45 minutes its a nice place to go and sit and get out of the heat, plus its one of those theaters with a huge screen so you feel like you are flying when they do over head shots.(I think its by the bumper cars?) Oh, while waiting in line for roller coasters (I am assuming you'll be riding them mostly) make sure that you drink plenty of water, they have vending machines in the line but the prices are ridiculous. (they have misting machines also so don't worry about passing out from the heat). That's about all I can think of right now I am sorry I sorta rambled on. But I really hope you and your family have a great time at America's Roller Coast!
