I HATE THEM!! They are horrible!! Why the hell is freakin My Chemical Romance the best band in the whole world right now and not Simple Plan?? My freakin chemical freakin romance sucks!

I'm not going to get mad at you or anything.
I mean, I love My Chemical Romance. They are one of my favorite bands.
You're just stating your opinion..
I think they are a great band and they are beautiful in so many ways. It's unbelieveable.
I believe that so many people love them for what they have done for them. I think that almost everyone can relate with the band members themselves and the songs they write.
My Chemical Romance wants to change people's lives, they want to save people, and they really want to leave their mark. And that is exactly what they have done.
They have saved millions of lives out there.
When I say that people can relate to their music, I mean that their music is meaningful and it sends you a message. Their music deals with everyday problems that people face. And many appreciate that. Their music is uplifting, and not depressing like some rock artists out there.
In a more personal view, the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, also went through his own battles. Battles that other people face as well.
He had been suffering from an alcohol addiction for the longest time, and he overcame that. He is a ver strong and devoted person. So many people look up to him for that. He and his band have inspired so many people to keep on living, myself included.And so many people turn to him and his band for comfort when they're feeling like s.hit.
Among many other reasons, they are extreamly talented. Gerard has one of the best voices I've ever heard, he was meant to sing. And he and his band play with so much charisma when they're on stage.
Not many bands sound as good as they do live.
Frank Iero is one of the guitarists in this band. When he plays live, it's just amazing. Sometimes he gets on the floor and does all kinds of things while playing. This shows how much passion and heart he has for what he does. This shows true talent and heart to me.
The lyrics to their songs are very meaningful and deep. If you just take the time to listen, or read the lyrics, you'll see what I mean.
Another thing.. They love their fans as if they know each and every one personally. And I feel as though they really connect with them while they're on stage.
Anyway, these are just a few reasons why My Chemical Romance is one of the best bands :])

MCR are an amazing band who put real heart and meaning into their music. They are one of the few bands around now who don't care about making money- they care about the fans, no matter how many there are. MCR have a positive message to put out to the world, and are misunderstood by people who haven't even listened to their music properly.

I can tell you right now that MCR is a CRAP LOAD better than Simple Plan, and if you like SP, then you have no right to judge what other people are listening to, because you don't have much musical taste AT ALL!
And to answer your question. They are one of the greatest bands because musically and lyrically they are unique. They write lyrics that mean a lot to people, and they stand for something more than just making music to make money. They care about what they do, and they care about their fans. One of the main reasons they make music is because they have a message to send to the world which is, It's okay to be screwed up, don't take anyone's crap, be yourself, don't care what other people think, and never let them take you alive. They are a band that has something to say, that mean something to a lot of people.

What? Who said they're the best?
I love them, they write great music, and they try doing things no one else has guts to do. They are experimenting with so many things. Their best work is yet to come. Let them grow.
As for Simple Plan, they're great guys, although I don't identify with their lyrics much anymore.

They are the best band in the world!
But only 10% of the people really know a ton about the band and also like there old stuff not just "Famous Last Words" and Welcome to the black parade" and there "in" numbers.
Come on guys you know what i am talking about those preps and little kids who think there "hardcore" fans just because they like a few of there songs.
If you want to be a fan listen to I,Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love for some real MCR.
It really buggs me how it works and i want preps to stick with there dumb pop and rap music and leave us rockers alone to enjoy MCR!
And also they formed because Gerard Way and (old drummer) Matt saw 9/11 happen first hand so three weeks later they made there first ever song Skylines And Trunstiles.
Then Mikey saw them playing and wanted to join so he plays base.
They Gerard invinted Frank to come and play because his old band Pencey Prep fell apart so he plays guitar and screams.
Laslty they re-meet Ray at an Iron Madin concert and asked him to play for them
Bob came because Matt kept messing up and they didn't like playing onstage with him so they went to Chicago and found Bob.
And the words to there songs are so deep and full of emotion like Helena is about Elena Gerard and Mikey's dead grandmother. She was the first one to notice that Gee had a talent for singing.
Also Famous Last Words was written because of Gerard's girlfriend breaking up with him.
Gerard also was pulled out for two depressions and drug and drinking problems by his fans and band mates.
SO WHAT IS THERE NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS BAND THAT HAS BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH EH?
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HATE THEM?

listen all of you, you can't ******* chat i dnt see u trying do i,i love them even if ppl hate them.. well i think their are the best band in the world plus all the people that hate them SUCKS. Gerard,Frankie,Mikey,Bob and Ray are wonderful so you really can't judge them.
