Because you said DESERT island! There is NO water around a DESERT island - only sand! The question should have been, "What three things would you bring with you on a DESERTED island?"

i presumed whilst people asked that style of question...the transportation could have already been offered. otherwise, i assume maximum of persons could answer to have an identical 3 issues...."a boat, nutrients and water". (in the event that they needed to outlive on that island.)
