You apparently had money to become an alcoholic but why should I have to pay to help you recover from a condition you intentionally got your self into? Why should the taxpayers have to bail out everyone that makes bad decisions?

No, it is not considered a medical disease and insurance companies will not cover it. Some plans may have loop holes or special needs coverage, but most will not cover it. If you can't afford insurance, how can you afford liquor?

Why don't you use the money you would have spent on alcohol to pay for it? Maybe if you have to struggle to get well you'll appreciate it more.
