Why are people messy?

Well, me personally has been friends with a messy person. The friendship just didin't work out. We still talk on the phone and go places together, we're just associates. Well to answer your question, people are messy because they like it. They love the drama and the attention. Most messy people have family problems, they're angry, maybe sometimes they're abused.

Some people are messy b/c they have simply never been taught otherwise. They think that it is someone else's responsibility to clean up after them. They think that other people are "being paid" to clean up after them. Sometimes, they are messy both at home and away from home. Until they realize that they are messy and need to clean up after themselves, they will never change, which is a shame, b/c this messiness takes away from them. It's a real "turn-off" to be around messy people and have to deal with their messiness regardless of who cleans up.
