Im planning on getting a nosejob when i turn 18, but until then is there any way to make your nose appear smaller? I know its a long shot but ive heard vaguely of certain makeup techniques that might work. This is what it looks like, i tried to get pictures from all different angles.

I think that you and your nose are very beautiful, and I'm sad to hear that you want to change it.

But if you are really diehard about making it look a little smaller, there are, like you said, a variety of tips that can make it look narrower, shorter, or less wide.

The trick is to put dark powder to narrow, and light powder to lengthen. So if you feel like your nose is to wide, a little dark powder on each side will narrow it. If it is too long, a little underneath your nose and then up to the tip will shorten it.

Here is a website with some tips, there are a lot of instructive websites out there to help you do this:

Good luck.

I see nothing wrong with your nose, but I think I know why you do. In most of your pictures, your hair is covering up much of your face so the the focus becomes your nose. I think this is what you're seeing and that's causing this obsession with wanting a nose job. Perhaps you could go to a stylist who might be able to suggest a flattering haircut that would draw your attention to your eyes so you wouldn't notice your nose as much.

Notice my use of the word "you". I'm not suggesting that you change your nose, but change your own perspective. You are an absolutely beautiful girl. You are perfect as you are. The only thing about you that needs to change is the way you see yourself.

My dear girl I really would like to tell you that you have a BEAUTIFUL nose. Its classic and perfect like every other feature that you have.

The only thing that needs fixing is your mentality, you need some assurance to remind yourself that you're already beautiful. You look really intellengent and I know that you can go read up some selfhelp book on why ppl do plastic surgery and its protocol and why you have failed your aesthetical senses at below age 18.

Before you decide to spend a bomb on an operation that hurt yourself, think about those kids without fingers or losing their sights.

Take care of yourself and don't ever say that your nose is ugly. U really have no idea.

When I opened this I was expecting a horrendous monstrosity across someone's face. But OMG! Your nose is FINE. Like completely fine, and trust me, I am brutally honest. I think the bump in it is actually cute (I love bumps in noses), and I didn't even notice anything wrong with it, even when you turned your head to the side. Your nose is apart of you, and it's one of the features that make your face. I like your nose, and I really don't think you should be getting a nose job. :-D

I, myself, have a wide nose and would LOVE to have your nose. Like someone above said, I wouldn't even have noticed if you didn't point it out. (No pun intended, hehe). But seriously, it's PERFECT! It fits your face and I don't think any other kind of nose would. Some girl in my grade got a nose job and her nose was FINE, it was just a bump in the middle of it, and now she has a new nose which looks good too, but I can't look at her straight without thinking that she made a bad mistake or that she got a nose job.

YOure gorgeous already.. but still here is a makeup cheat tip..
buy a foundation ( creme) or liquid ) 3 shades darker than your skin.... lightly dot the dark foundation at the tip of your nose and at the sides of your nose both sides along the length of your nose.. then gently smugde these dots and blend gently into your skin..
this dark foundation will make your nose appear smaller.. its an optical illusion but works!

Honey, leave your nose alone!!! You are only 16 and you haven't fully grown into your features! Don't think about how other people look...u look the way you're suppose 2. If u change..u just might miss the perfect opportunity 2 become a star!!! Think about it!

Honey I like your nose and it's not worth the risk of trying to "fix" it. God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you and it's kinda arrogant to think you or a doctor can do better than God. Even though I don't approve of you doing this it is really true when I say you look great! Quit obsessing and know you are prettier than most.

DO NOT GET A NOSE JOB! Your nose brings your face together beautifully. You are a gorgeous young lady.

Honestly, I didn't even notice your nose. I was more hoping you'd get your hair out of your face. Why hide such a lovely face?

Don't change anything about who you are. Women like me who aren't so lucky to be so attractive wonder why girls like you think there's something wrong with you.

Besides, your nose makes you a part of who you are. You got your nose from a combination of your parents' genetics, and changing that means changing part of who you were born to be.

Look, I wouldn't of noticed your nose unless you pointed it out to me. I like how you have your bangs long, especially on the second picture. Be happy that its not worse, you are pretty - stop having a bad image of yourself because of your nose.

As far as trying something, MAYBE (not for sure) you could try a mineral powder foundation a TOUCH darker to apply on nose (not noticeably a lot though). Otherwise, there isnt really anything to do -- like I said, you really shouldnt be worried about it, its not that big of a deal!
