I am re-connecting a web camera to a new computer. However the web camera hasnt been used for a year hence i dont have a cd with the driver for it and the camera does not have a name on it.
Is there a website or a program i can use/run to help me determine what company made the web camera so i can download a driver for it?

no need for a website or a program, usually when you insert your webcam in to your usb port the plug and play feature of Windows pops up that it has identified a new device and asks to install drivers for it. Then it also shows the name of the device.

Check the web cam. There should be a name on it. When you do find the name, find their website. Most likely they will have drivers for your web cam there. You can also email the guy you bought it from on ebay. You can also do an "update driver" through windows, by selecting the webcam in "my computer" then when it asks you how you want to update, you select the internet button instead. However most likely it will not work that way, but there is a chance it will. Good luck

You have more or less no chance, whenever I get these non-branded equipment, I normally made an image file of the CD or copy the drivers to the server, knowing how difficult it can be finding a driver later.

Go to the manufacturer website and search for support or downloads and seek for your products drivers.
