The "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer.
This is an amazing series! If you like romance with a bith of suspense/thriller, you'll like this series!
The books are Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse (which comes out in August).

I would recommend any of Madeleine L'Engle's fiction novels. She's probably most known for the "Wrinkle in Time" series, but she also has another great series that centers around a character named Vicky Austin ("A Ring of Endless Light", "Bright Evening Star"). All of L'Engles books are extremely well written and include strong female main characters.

I don't know about mystical but I myself read romance.
I would recommend 'Always Six O'Clock' by Phoef Sutton. It a mystery/thriller/romance all at once. It is amazing, I swear. If you read it, you won't be disappointed.

Also, Jodi Picoult books are really good. She deals with more than romance but with real life situations such as teen suicide, family situations, rape etc. She is amazing, REALLY.

As for mystical, I can't help. But these two recommendations are worthy of your reading =)

OH!!
I just thought of a mystical/romance kind of book. Wow. I'm stupid haha.
'Wicked: The Life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West'. It is the most mystical book I have ever read. It is REALLY REALLY good. REALLY.

I recommend the book "A Great and Terrible Beauty". Also, I bet that you would LOVE the series by Laurie Faria Stolarz. The books are: "Blue is for Nightmares" "White is for Magic" "Silver is for Secrets" and "Red is for Remembrance". Check them out, they are very good!
