Your own guilt can "jail" you until you make amends. But I have never heard of anyone going to jail for stealing a couple candy bars in America...just try not to keep going for bigger and better things!

No, you don't deserve to go to jail. But - you should go back to the store that you stole from and confess - and pay them for the candy that you stole.
