PSP 3.02 downgrade HELP?

If i downgrade my psp version 3.02 will i still be able to use the new updates such as psp music visualizer or will i have to update it by some other means.

the best thing for you to do will be to get this custom firmware 3.03 OE-B, which gives you all the homebrew capabilities of firmware 1.5 etc and also the features of 3.03 and other cool features. the following guides should help you do exactly what you need to do.... i have personally used them and they're perfect :-)

now, after following the instructions in the first guide, you'll have firmware version 1.5, now, to get the custom firmware..you'll have to follow this guide:-

you'll have to download loads of files as mentioned in the guides, but follow the instructions VERY carefully, as they say, and you should be just fine :-)

If you downgrade to 1.50, you will lose all the features in the new updates such as psp music visualizer.

In order to get them back (and have the ability to play homebrews like 1.50), you'll need to install custom firmware like 3.03 OE, 3.10 OE, 3.30 OE or 3.40 OE.

PS: to downgrade 3.02, you need to upgrade to 3.03 first and then downgrade from there. In addition, to perform the downgrade, you'll need a copy of unpatched Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Also in any circumstance, do not upgrade your firmware beyond 3.03, if you do, you will not be able to downgrade your PSP!

As for install custom firmware, the guy above me seems to have all the information you need.

upgrade to 3.03 then downgrade the pnly downgradable Firmwares are 2.0
2.6/2.5same exploit for both 2.70 2.80 and 3.03
