I vote for Germany (Munich, Dresden) for its old architecture.
And England (London) for its modern architecture.

I am with you, Germany has beautiful architecture, some of the old buildings were destroyed during the second world war, but the modern architecture is beautiful too. Take a look too in the Netherlands, esp. in the big cities, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Maastricht. Not Rotterdam which was completely bombed out, it is now very modern.

Switzerland. That country suffered very little damage during WWII. Thus many of the old architecture still stands today. As far as Dresden and London, heavy damages from ceaseless bombings.
