If me and 50 people wanted to hang out from about 8-10pm, and play some music, could we get in trouble from the school? The law?

Only if you live in such a big city that is filled with so much crime that the police don't have time to come and get you. If that's the case, party on dude.

if you have to ask it, then you should know the answer... yes you can, its loitering, any more than 3 people is criminal trespassing, any more than 20 is a mob. if your going to "hang out" go do it in somones house, and not on private property that is owned by the state...
