if i have a internet connection speed of 64kbps, can i increase the speed up to 512kbps with out ISP's attention, is it really possible,if yes , how? can anyone pls tell me?????iam juz curious to know as one of my frirend says its possible,pls

no it is not possible.

no you cannot, as your user profile is restricted to chosen bandwidth at your ISP server. Probably you can login with another username and password which has higher bandwidth in the same pc.

but still there is an option to speed up your internet access to some extent by installing accelerator softwares like Google Web Accelerator.

Your Internet connection at your providers end is attached to a piece of network equipment and it has a speed setting set in side it for you're connection most times. other times it is simply attached to more circuits to add speed. in any case it is not passable at all. sorry.

I am assuming that you are on dial-up and if your getting 64Kbps your doing real good on a 56kb modem.
