"John G" Why answer a question you have no interest in.. There are plenty of other topics within Y/A you can go to and no one is placing a gun to your head to answer or look at questions regarding the McCanns

I don't know what to say trip. You know my feelings on them. I was round at a friends earlier babysitting while she took her baby to the doctors. The little girl who is six had two friends round and I was astounded when one of them put their dolls into a cardboard box, which was the 'bed', put her mum's shoes on and said 'let's all go out now for our dinners' and i said 'I'll babysit for you Charlotte' and she said 'no I'm just leaving them they'll be fine'
yes OK on the surface it's funny, because these little girls are all five and six years old, but already they've picked up that it appears to be fine to go out and leave dollies. yes dollies are inanimate objects, but are they seeing the McCanns as early role models?
The whole thing just depresses me now because I think how I struggled on my own with two of them while I tried attending college, fitting it in around whatever adequate childcare I had, if I had none, then I didn't go to classes. I fell behind, I had to repeat a year. I got there in the end but not in the way I had hoped for, it was demoralising, it was difficult, but despite the obstacles I made sure my children came first, always at the expense of my self, and that was OK, because I thought that was the way to do things.
Now I have to watch two smug self centred imbeciles take the world stage and be applauded and rewarded for their lax and indescribably stupid way of parenting, and I just feel completely and utterly miserable and defeated.

my husband is as angry as you , im mixed on the whole thing , jack has a point id do everything in my power to get my kids back , however i wouldnt have left them home , and in my humble opinion wouldnt it be more constructive to get each country broadcast her pics on each countries national news or on some of their tv programmes, you know what im saying here rather than meet the pope be pushing for their plight to be on tv so other countries could be looking , whose going to take notice of them meeting the pope??
my heart is breaking for the poor little mite
i still do think the whole thing is a bit fishy , it just doesnt add up .....
Your joking about the dignitaries thing tho ...right ????!!!

This is beyond ridiculous. The McCanns I mean, why has everyone forgotten they neglected their kids?

Does anybody really care?!
I for one have no wish to meet the Pope personally!
I have just bought the book the God Delusion!
I just wish Maddy could be found and we could all find something else to talk about!!!

i will never understand people, there 3 year old daughter was snatched from her bed in the middle of the night, police are talking pedophiles, it is every parents worst nightmare, all they want is their daughter back. they know that the more publicity they get the more pressure goverments are under and hence the more manpower given to them to help with the search

this isnt a situation that can be faked, this carn be spun, or manipulated, their daughter WAS taken, no disputing that, and they are terrible afraid that soon there might only be a handfuul of people looking for their daughter instead of the hundreds that are now

give them a break, any parent would do anything they could to even slightly improve the chances of getting their daughter back
