Always remember to have soft hands while catching. Your hands should not be tight. remember to catch and grip the ball in your palm and not fingers. If the ball is hit hard and you try to catch it in fingers, it will pain. But palm is where if ball lands, it will not hurt. Soft hands and do not stop once the ball lands in your hand pull it back so that the motion is completed.

When a fielder catches the ball before it bounces and after the batsman has struck it with the bat or it has come into contact with the batsman's glove while it is in contact with the bat handle the batsman is OUT

yes... if the ball hits the gloves then its out... but not any other part of the hand...

If u want me to explain still further.....

if the ball hits the part of the hand till where he is wearing the gloves then its out... but if the ball hits the hand above the gloves and he is caught then its not out..

As long as the ball doesn't touch the ground first it is OUT. Once I saw a keeper almost juggle a ball because he couldn't get it and when he caught it the batsman was out.

If the ball hits any part of the upper portion of the hand excepting the lower portion then it is out.

it is out only if the ball hits the glove when the glove is in contact with the bat

Its out if th ebatsmen is wearign glove, if ball touches any part of glove and is caught then its out, else not out.

Which part of the hand? If it hits the glove of the batsman..and cought...he is out....Other part of the hand.....he is not out..

If it hits hand while holding bat in that hand its OUT. If it hits the hand while not holding the bat then its NOT OUT.
