Yes , every time I see a vet or anyone without limbs or people lost to addiction, I realize that there if not for the grace of God am I.
This happened to me earlier today when that Sergeant came home after a second tour in Iraq. Wounded on the first tour and lost both of his legs on the second. His 22 year old wife feels blessed that her husband came home. The rest of his squad did not.

OH YEAH!
waking up in the morning in a warm bed in a cozy house with my loving family having food on the table...think about the poor families in Africa, Pakistan, Honduras and so on. Be thankful for what you have everyone and rememeber to thank god.

Yes, the trusting look in my daughter's eyes, the songs of the birds in the early morning, every sunrise and sunset, the smell of rain and fresh mowed grass, many other things, too numerous to mention.....oh, and of course, chocolate.
