Can you tell me anything about that book and your overall opinion of it?

An excellent techo-thriller, about the outbreak of a strange disease, that has dated surprisingly little in 35 years. It's only just science fiction as it makes no wild assumptions.
The idea of biologically active materials arriving from space is still a current hypothesis.

The novel does have one or two weak spots, bending the plot with improbable devices in a couple of places, but you might not notice them in an absorbed first reading.
