Looking for a new QB would be a smart move for ATL

I don't think they should be looking for a QB. Micheal Vick is the face of the franchise and does his best, they expect him to be immortal and make every play the best, that's putting everything on Vick's shoulders. He was blamed for alot of games they lost last year but it really wasn't Vick's fault, alot of dropped passes, fumbles, defensive meltdowns and missed scoring chances. The only QB really out their that is worthy of a starting job MAYBE is Aaron Brooks, But it really is a little late to start looking for a starter right now when their really is nobody left, I think they should have kept Shuab just incase but it's all about money money money.

The Falcons should have traded Vick for some value. Schaub is a smarter pocket passer, a better person, and a good face for a franchise. Vick is giving Atlanta a terrible image as a team. He flicks off fans, has suspect water, and is in to dog fighting. He's just a punk and a glorified running back. A lot of teams won't take a gamble on him with the new discipline policy in the NFL. Even taking Brady Quinn would have been a smart choice. Vick really hasn't won the Falcon's anything recently, so why keep him?

They should have started looking for a new QB when they drafted Vick. He's never really been a great QB, he's a runner, he's a bit to big to be a good RB, but he could move to a flanker or even a WR spot. He's got speed and he moves pretty good, but the Falcons will never win anything with him at QB. He should have moved like Antwan Randel El did when he was drafted.
The trouble he has been is just something that seems to be a part of the Vick family. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Vick will be out after this season.

Yes they should, and not just because of the dog fighting incident. When they first implemented the "West Coast" offense under Jim Mora Jr. is when they should have. In order to run that offense, the QB has to be an accurate passer which Vick is not, and be able to read a defense, and make pre-snap adjustments, which Vick has not shown the ability to do on a consistent basis. If nobody is open he just runs.

Of course they should. Never mind get rid of him as a QB. They should set out to make him an example. Hold him up to the world as the pathertic, cowardly , little, insecure, ignorant man that he is. The entire world was willing to rip Jason Giambi apart for steroid use, well Michael Vic has 60 dogs ripping each other apart in his house... if professional football looks the other way it's a total disgrace. This person is supposed to be a role model for children. My greatest wish is that someone throws him into a pit full of vicious dogs or better yet, I can't wait until the folks at PETA go to work on him. How can we allow a vicious horrible individual make that kind of money in this country if that's what he's going to use it for. I hope he winds up destitute on the streets and if i ever see him i'll spit in his face.

I think you really need to move in that direction. Goodall is pretty strict about player conduct. If Vick is in fact convicted of being party to dog fight wagering, he is in big trouble and it will be a criminal case then. The Falcons should look to address a signal caller to replace Vick, convicted or not. It will be a distraction for the team if they do not address the issue.

Yeah. they'd desire to fully be finding at Culpepper. yet, in the event that they do, they would not opt to do it publicly. in the event that they are not getting Culpepper, it in certainty says they think of Vick is accountable and/or want him off the group. Plus, it makes Harrington sense fantastically crappy. Hmmmm...week one -- Falcons at Vikings. think of Culpepper might opt to start in that one? The Falcons don't have traded Matt Schaub to the Texans. That one's gonna blow up of their face enormous-time. P.S. hey, are not the Chargers finding all sensible now for passing on Vick interior the draft and taking that L.T. guy 2nd ordinary? Lol.

NO. I know dog fighting is illegal but if mike Vick gets in trouble for that then every person on the high end in the NFL should be fired and the sport should be banned itself. if they allow ppl to run around trying to put their opponent on the ground and occasionally breaking bones then they should allow dogs to fight. the only difference is, is that football is organized. we have the right to possibly kill each other in an organized game but we can not watch dogs fight under our supervision??

Yes!! They should've took Carr or kept Shuab instead of Vick. Joey Harrington is probably going to start in week 1. I'm not sure he's dependable, then again, he was never given a chance ( Joey Harrington). C'MON!! He STARTED OUT WITH THE LIONS!!

I had no idea why they traded Schaub instead of Vick even before this happened. He was worth a lot more for a trade and Schaub is better for Atlanta's offense anyway.
