Thereby hangs a question...........cold sores are viral and most, not all, people have the virus within themselves (thanks the the Aunt who had the virus & passed it on to you when you were very small, by kissing you!!!!!). The sores are well known to 'pop' out when the body is low and lots of people when they go on holiday (abroad, to the sun mainly), relax from their hetic, stress laden lives and the next thing you know.......cold sores!!! So the question now is, have cold sores anything to do with the sun at all???

yes as well as people who live where its cold and anywhere in between.
cold sores arent a weather thing, they are a virus that live in your body. stress is one major factor that makes them flare up. look up cold sore on the net for you best anwer and suggestions.

It hasn't anything to do with climate. It's more if there is an underlying infection.
