You must check with your lawyer before even trying to get a loan while in Bankruptcy...most of the time before you are discharged if you even attempt to get a loan your bankruptcy will not be discharged (ie your case will be thrown out and you will be back where you started and you cannot refile for 7 years). They pull your credit report before going in to see the judge and he will be able to see you have gotten a new loan.

When I went thru bankruptcy they told me I coudn't get any loans during the bankruptcy that the judge would not sign off on the bankruptcy if I did.

You can't without the courts permission. ANY use of credit while in bankruptcy must be approved by the court in advance.
