I need a job in the summer, but don't know which employer will want me, so I decided to fill out several application forms then wait for interviews or responses, is this ok?? what if more than one of them accept me? should I go to only one or arrange my schedules then go to 2 jobs?
Thanks for your suggestions.

It is perfectly OK to fill out several applications at once. When I was searching for a job, I filled out about 5; that way when one job called to ask me for an interview I knew if I didn't want the job, I had other options. Another good reason to fill out more than one is that some companies may not even call you. The more applications you fill out, the more likely you are to get job offers. When you go to pick up/ turn in an application make sure to be dressed appropriately and be well groomed. You are more likely to get a callback if you make a good first impression on your possibly future boss/or co-workers. Before you get any callbacks make sure you set some standards for your new job. Keep in mind important details such as pay rate, if you will be paid weekly or every two weeks, their policy on sick days, and if you need them to work around your schedule and if they are willing, and if you will actually like what you will be doing there. If more than one employer gives you a callback or an interview, make sure each interview is at a different time before confirming with the employer. This will save you alot of time and hassle. If you have decided upon one job and someone else calls you, simply tell them you have already taken another job offer but you appreciate their getting back to you. Good luck and welcome to the working world!!

Sure it's OK. The more hooks in the water, the more likely to catch a fish, eh. Go to the interviews of the companies that really interest you, if you get an interview offer. That way, you'll have more options open to you. If more than one accept you, choose the one you really want. Then if the others call you with an offer, you can let them know what you've decided. Good luck! You can do it.

Dont do that many! do 1, wait for a response, if its no fill out another application do them after you get the respnse because if you get all 3 ur busted! but if you get accepted on 1, and its pretty easy and only a few hours, do a part time job or another job. Just dont fill out alot at one time! just 1!

That's the best way to do it. Hopefully you can line up a few interviews and then accept the best offer. If you decide on a job just let everyone else who calls or offers you a job, "thank you but I've already accepted a job at this time"

It's okay to interview for different jobs at the same time, just like it is to apply to several colleges. It just gives you a backup plan if you don't get hired for the job that you most want.

Absolutely apply for as many as you are interested in. If you get called by a number of them go to all the interviews and then decide which one sounds the best. Its better to have your pick of the lot than to be stuck waiting for whoever picks you.

You'd be best of applying for as many jobs as possible and just seeing how many offers you get. That way, you can pick and choose the job that you want the most. Even if more than one of them accepts you, you can always turn them down!

Yes, and whoever calsl you back, go to all the interviews. Chances are, only a few will call you back, and only a few will like you after your interview. Once you get multiple jobs, choose the one you like best and call back the rest with an apology.

Yes, whenever your finding a job, you always fill out more than one application. If two of them want you then you should figure out which one would you rather work for.

absolutely...its better to fill out as many apps as possible...just keep track and employers like when you call them...after you fill out an app just call a couple days later or a week later and ask to speak to a manager..say you filled out an app and was wondering if anyone has looked it over yet....youll have a much better chance of getting a job...good luck!
