Theres a cable to connect the router to the virgin broadband modem, then you need to plug a network cable from the wireless router to the computer to set the wireless up.
http://192.168.1.1
Its not that difficult.

The short answer is yes... use the ethernet cable that came with your Virgin Media modem to connect it to the router and then either get another ethernet cable to connect the router to your P.C. or connect wirelessly using a wireless card or adapter.

Cable modem (like cable TV), or ADSL (via phone line)?
I think that Linksys unit doesn't include an ADSL modem, so it won't be any good for you.
I could be wrong, and often am.

I have that router it does not matter wut u are running thou it as long as it is high speed cable internet and if u are haveing problems pass that type in the router code and look at its settings i don't have to with me look it up on google. like (router ip address )

enable WPA encryption. examine the medical docs for instructions on doing that. it is not a password, yet absolutely everyone who would not understand the passphrase will no longer be able to get right of entry to your instant connection.
