what are illegal pH values and tell me the substance that goes along with the value no im not doing anything illeal bu im into ferensics and have a pH meter but dont kbow what the substance is that goes along with the values.

A pH measure of less than approx. -0.5, or greater than approx. +14.5, will be "illegal" in the sense that you shouldn't believe it.

pH is a measure of how acidic or basic something is. It's defined as the -log of the H+ ion concentration(in moles/liter).

Because pH depends on concentration, it's really not possible to identify a substance only by measuring the pH.

In that same sense, there's really no "illegal" pH.
