the cd tray on my pc got jammed and I want to know if there's a way to open it without breaking it.

Turn off the computer. Restart the computer. When the Windows login page appears, press and hold the eject button. If this should fail then there should be a pinhole right under the tray. Insert a toothpick or paper clip and press in to manually eject the disk.

Look at your CD drive
There should be a small hole the size of a toothpick below the tray. Use a paper clip and stick it through the hole until the tray comes out manually.

Get a paper clip. Straighten it out.
Look at your CD tray, there's a small paper clip sized hole.
Insert paper clip.
Tray springs open.
