Percent means "out of 100", so 100% is 100/100 = 1

Absolutely do NOT include the two zeros.

When you divide a number by 10, you move the decimal place one too the left When you divide it by 100, you move the decimal two places to the left. 0.01 = Decimal Too get the percentage, you multiply the decimal by 100. 0.01 x 100 = 1% 1% = Percentage

Not just one, but if you want to find percent-decimal conversions for any number, here is what you do:

Take the percentage (e.g. 200%) get rid of the "%" sign and divide by 100 to get the answer (e.g. 2).

So the answer to 100% is 1.

just move that decimal point to the left. one over for 10%, two over for 100%.

a percent is simply 1/100, written out thats one "one hundredth". So, another way to write it out is .01. Now, a hundred of those makes 1.00. Make sure to include the two zeros
