Also, depending on the issue, you can sue both the state and federal government, however there are extra hoops to be jumped through.

It is not easy but if you have a solid case, you should have not problem finding an attorney to handle this for you.

A trip to legal aid or a call to your local university's law department should help you figure this out.

In filing a suit against the government -- either state or federal, you are infact, filing against the tax payers, for "We the people," "By the people and for the people, etc., etc., etc.." You can file a claim against, but to actually sue?

why do you want to sue the state, don't you want to earn your money the old fashion way like the rest of us?

you may not sue the state or feds in any of her own courts.
