It's too bad you're afraid to ask your dad for a bra. I'm not sure why, but since you are, talk to an adult female relative or adult female whom you can talk to, & ask if she'd take you bra shopping. If you get an allowance, they you can buy your own, but get that female to help you buy a good bra. You'll need more than one bra, but try a couple different styles first, & see which one you like best. You should be able to talk to your dad & it saddens me that you can't.

Sounds like you don't have another lady in your house. Just
say, dad I'm growing up and I need a bra. Would you please
have someone go with me or you can and wait on the side
if you are embarrassed while I get one. You would make me so happy if you would do this. You would be surprised dad's
like to belong to all ages and changes in their little girls life.

write him a note. Cause he is a dad and he will comply to female needs in this dept. If you have a grandma, or aunt, or even an older gal, ask them to take you shopping and ask him for some $. Go to fredericks of hollywood, cause they can fit you there and their bras are the best.

Don't be scared! I'm sure your dad knows a thing or two about a ladies needs. If you act weird about it then you are sending out that strange "vibe" & that may make him feel a little strange. The only thing that may get him is the fact that he has to realize that his little girl is maturing & growing up too fast for him to deal with. Good luck & you will be fine.

Do you have another family member that you can ask to help you? I talked to my dad about everything--it's uncomfortable in the beginning but it gets easier.

well if you feel uncomfortable talking to your dad then you should talk to one of your friends moms or talk to a lady that you are really close to. or your dad may understand that you do need one. so just ask him anyway. he will understand
