Far and away, I believe The Hobbit could be the most difficult to adapt to a movie to actually make interesting. If anyone could do it, it would be Peter Jackson; his issue is spending much more money than investors want.

I would still watch the movie if a credible director was chosen to oversee the film; there are many great directors on the scene today who could do a decent job.

But I would like to see Jackson do it, since it seems he has a love for this series of books.

Yes, he should definitely direct it. He did a great job with Lord of the Rings trilogy and I trust he would make The Hobbit a great movie, too. I would probably go see it no matter who did it, but I'd like to see him involved.

yes and yes...He did an excellent job with Lord of the Rings. I wasn't very impressed with King Kong, though.

I wouldn't go to see it no matter who directed it.

I'll wait for video like I did all the other ones.

Yes and Yes. It would make sense for him to direct it.

I hope they don't make it. I'm tired of Lord of the Rings stuff.

I hope the dude goes back to making horror movies.
