Assume a question:-
Change 212° F to °C
C = (5/9).(212 - 32)
C = (5/9).(180)
C = 5 x 20
C = 100
212°F = 100°C

What sort of help are you seeking? Here's a brief explanation of why this formula works, if that's what you need:

Take the freezing and boiling points of water (assuming normal conditions). The Celsius scale points are 0 and 100 degrees; Fahrenheit ranges from 32 to 212 degrees, a 180 degree range. So Celsius temperatures increase relative to Fahrenheit by a ratio of 100/180, which reduces to 5/9. But Fahrenheit's freezing point is 32 degrees, which needs to be subtracted out to correspond to the 0 degree Celsius.
