It's their life. Who are we to pass judgement against this type of individual. Let it be.. Unless it is a family member or a close friend let it go. In reality it is not our business to try & make someone care about things they have no interest in caring for. Let it rest.

There aren't people that Truly don't care about anything, because they wont care to live too. They have probably been hurt and they hide their feelings well so they wont get hurt again.
Those people are more sensitive then others.

I think that those people are going to be very lonely in life. No one I know would want to have any kind of relationship with a person like that. I actually had a landlord that was like that. One day my husband and I were going to move out, we had given him notice a week or so earlier. Any ways, he was mad because we were leaving and he wouldn't have anyone to do chores for him, we worked for rent on a farm. He came to the house and told me that he felt sorry for me becuase I had to put up with my husband. I told him I was sorry the only one attending his funeral would probably be the pastor because he didn't have any friends. It was mean but it got the point across.

Hi there,
Well, that is their choice and I don't fault them for that. Further, I have no idea what experiences they have lead that has put them in such a position. But people who are that apathetic, I don't have time or place for them in me life so even though they exist out there they don't impact on me. If I were to meet someone, as nice as they might be, I would not even entertain a friendship as that type of negativity I don't want around. And considering that I am not a therapist I have no desire to help them "find their way"; if they were a dear friend seeking help, totally different story!
Cheers.

Dont waste your time; I've known people like that and they have no input in whatever goes on. They're clueless and could care less about anything.

It could be that once they cared TOO MUCH. They were hurt too badly, disappointed too often, so they have retreated behind a wall of indifference to protect themselves from hurt and disappointment.

Those are happy and contented people, easy to get along with, easy to please, never complains but oftentimes victims of bad and deceitful elements.
