My folks gave me a dinner ring for high school graduation (many years ago). I was doing some filing at work one day. One of the diamonds came out my ring. I could not find it, even though I searched back and forth many hours. Not only did I lose an expensive item, but part of a precious gift.

I lost a pendant with a almost one carat ,clear, wonderful diamond. It broke me heart, it was my parents' gift on my graduation day...

I don't care if it was expensive. I care because it was precious.
