Serious answer....well, I have been like this all of my life. I always listen to everyone's problems. I try to be a good listener with a big heart. When it comes to my own problems, I feel that they aren't as big as their problems, so I bottle them up inside until I explode. I avoid burdening others but overly burdening myself. It's really unhealthy, but I've been this way for a long time.

I think the only real burden I place is by trying to do too much, and over-extending my capacities to really help someone. I don't like to "dump" my problems on anyone else, unless those problems are somehow affecting our relationship.
But hey, it beats being a slug.

Only when I don't do my part in something do I feel I've burdened someone.

I have a lot of physical problems and live in chronic pain. This in itself is a burden to my friends and family. It affects everyone around you.

I know I don't. My purpose is to help them unload theirs or at least lighten the load.
