a=lxw for a rectangles area
l=3w so
area=3wxw
so area =3w^2
192=3x^2
divide both sides by 3
64=x^2
x=sqrt(64)
x=8
so the width is 8 and the length is 3x8 or 24
so the perimeter is 2x24+2x8
so 48+16
so 64in

suppose the width is w so the length is 3w

The area is 3w*w= 192 or w^2 =64 so the width is 8 in
the length is 3*8=24in

And the perimeter p =2w+2l = 16+32= 48in

l=3x
area =lw=3x^2=192, so x^2=64 and x=8. Therefore, the length is 24 and the width is 8--the perimeter would then be 64.

length = l
width = b

l=3b
l*b=192 => 3b*b=192

3b^2 =192
b^2 = 64=> b=8 =>l=24

P = 2*(l+b)= 2*(8+24) =64

area = length times width, so...

3x * x = 192

3x^2 = 192

x^2 = 64

x = 8

so, the sides are 8 and 24 inches, making the perimeter 64 inches.

let width=w
let length=3w

a=192^2

w*3w=192
4w=192
4/4 cancels out.
192/4=48
w=48
___w___
| | 3*48=144
| | L=144
3w | w=48
| | 48*2=96
|_______| 144*144=288
288+96=384
p=384

3N X N = 192
N^2 = 64
N = 8
P = 2 X ( 3N + N) = 8 N
P = 64
