I do it to work things out. I do it quietly when around others, but those who know me know I am Quite sane, quite happy, and quite produvtive. Often people ask me about it when getting to know me. but I am open about it and have discovered that many who meet me, and see how at-ease I am about my habit, start to feel free to do it themselves. It's sort of a reverse meditation. It is only as odd or insane as the things you say.

I proofread Contracts, so the necessity of repeating what I just read and and trying to put it differently loud presents it self daily.

I often I follow with an out-loud comment like "well that's just idiotic." or, "This section is a pain in the ***." or "they must be delusionsal if they think this indemnity will be agreed to."

Well many people are crazy. Others I think might be off their meds, and it turns out they are just talking on one of those blue tooth devices. I dont know. I guess asking yourself a question is the best way to get the answer you want.

i do all the time, some times you just need to work something out, like what you are going to do next. or if im mad, i just talk it out with myself instead of obsessing over it, chewing other peoples ears off. and if i forget something, i say it out loud, in the store, ill say, ohhh milk. and hope that helps from forgetting it, why did you ask this question under this category?

You know when you think something and it seems okay, but when you tell it to someone and it seems dumb? Sometimes you have to say it out loud so it goes in your ears. Then you rethink it to see if it seems right.

Sometimes saying it out loud so it goes in your ears makes you remember it better.

Personal note: I argue with myself out loud. People always say, well, as long as you don't lose the argument. But...I usually DO lose the argument! Ha-ha-ha!
