A ballon which is in the form of a perfect sphere , is being filled with water . After containing one litre water, its radius is ‘x’,then how much water should be added to make its radius double?

V=4/3*pi*r^3

f the Volume is 1 litre, the radius is x, so,

1=4/3*pi*x^3
If you substitute x with 2x, you get,
V=4/3*pi*(2x)^3
=4/3*pi*8x^3

So Volume should be 8 Litres.

So you need to add 7 more litres of water.

When you double the dimensions of a 3-dimensional object you increase its volume by 8 times. The balloon would have 8 litres of water in it -- so you would have to add 7. Sorry, I didn't calculate this, I just knew.

V is proportional to r^3

So doubling the radius means increasing the volume 8 fold.
So the new volume should be 8 litres, hence 7 litres should be added.

Since the volume of a sphere is 4pir^3/3 by doubling the raius you would have to increase the volume by factor(2)^3=8; therefore, you would have to add 7 more liters to accomplish this task.

Algorithm:
1.Volume of the sphere=4/3*3.14*radius^3=1 lit
2.r=cubic root of 3/(4*3.14)
3.2*r=2*cubic root of 3/(4*3.14)=1.240 lit

Basically 1 unit of radius will give 0.6204 units of Volume

v=4/3*pi*x^3=1 L
v'=4/3*pi*(2x)^3
v'-v=4/3*22/7*x^3[8-1]=28/3*22/7*x^3=88/3*x^3
=4/3*pi*x^3*7=7v=7*1=7 liters will double up the radii

ofcourse 1 ltr more coz if radius is x in one ltr then to double the radius v require the same as v pour the water b4..

(4/6) . pi . r^3 = 1 Lt
r^3 = 6Lt/(4 . pi) = 0.48
r = 0.78
when r = 1.56
V/2 = (4/6) . pi . 1.56^3 = 3.27
So 2,27 Lt must be added.
