HBO knows they have a stellar hit with 'The Sopranos'. Does anyone have any inside info as to "why" they are ending. I could watch this HBO series for the next fifty years.

HBO likes to end most shows that are a hit after 6 seasons so they do not get repetitive and start to suck. They did it with OZ and Sex and the City. There is only so many storylines that could be played out so it is better to go out on top with a winner then keep it going and eventually it is a worthless show with no fan support.
