3x^2 - 2x^2 - 4x + 5x -2 - 10 > 0
x^2 + x - 12 > 0
(x - 3)(x + 4) > 0

This function has zeros at x = 3 and x = -4
It's an even function (squared) that faces upward (the first term is positive). So between -4 and 3 it is below the x-axis, and when < -4 or > 3, it's above the x-axis.
