There is a huge outlet mall right on the strip just south of the airport. You can take the bus there or a taxi. If you have a car, drive about 45 miles south of Vegas on I-15 to Primm (its at the Calif/Nevada border) and there is a big outlet mall there with name brand stores like Saks, Nordstrom, etc.

The outlet mall on Las Vegas Blvd is good. Also the premium outlets (an outdoor mall) is good ( this one is closer to downtown). The forum shops & Fashion Show mall are fabulous ,but there are no reasonable prices at either one of those. You might just want to go to those to look around.= )
If you want to get off the strip there's the Boulevard Mall about 10-15 min away, the Meadows Mall about 10 minutes away, and the Galleria Mall about 15 min away. These all are typical malls w/reasonable prices.

I really like the Premium outlets in Las Vegas. There is one on Las Vegas Blvd that is enclosed - great to get out of the heat. And there is an open-air one near down town. Check out the web site for all the stores.

There are tons of outlet stores here in Vegas plus a huge one out at Primm which is about 30 minutes drive. I love Nordstrom's Rack in Green Valley and Sak's off Fifth.

My wife hits up the Forum Shops at Caesars, Fashion Show Mall, the Venetian, and Alladin. Of course, she goes to the outlets too.
