Abortion is the act of stopping the natural pregnancy process through man-made means It results in the cessation of life for the child
Now that we have the somewhat clinical definition out the way: In the act of abortion, a mother of an unborn child decides, for whatever reason, that she cannot continue her pregnancy, or someone else decides that for her The abortionist charges anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a couple of thousand to end the life of the baby in the womb (kill) and remove him/her from the mother's womb In many cases the mother is physically injured, as well Anywhere from a little tearing as the baby's body is removed (sometimes in pieces), to rupturing of the womb, to the mother having to have a colostomy, to uncontrolled bleeding, to death Emotionally, the mother is scarred for life by the realization that she had a hand in the death of her child
Abortion affects the unborn child in death, the mother in emotional and, often times, physical injury However, it also affects the father of the baby, as well as the grandparents and even the siblings
Many people will say things like, "Why bring an unwanted child into the world?" First off, the baby is already in the world It is simply in the womb Secondly, even if the parents of the baby do not want him/her, there are countless other couples who are willing to provide home, shelter and, most importantly, love for that child
Some will say, "How can you ask a woman to give birth to a child and then give it away Better it is never born" The flaw in this is simply this: Is it better to have the life of a baby ended because you don't think you can handle giving him/her up for adoption, and you have to live with the consequences of that awful decision? Or, is it better to allow the child to continue to live and, after birth, give a loving couple a chance to raise that child to be a good adult, knowing that you will, at some time, have a chance to meet that child and let them know that you loved them enough to give them to a home that could care for them as you couldn't?
Some will even go so far as to compare the unborn child to a parasite However, if that were the case, then why do we worry so much about endangered species and that they produce offspring for the propagation of the species? After all, the pregnant female just has a parasite growing inside of it
Most importantly, it is cruelty and selfishness to believe that our lives are so important as to be justified in the killing of an unborn child, a child who has done nothing to anyone Also, as a Christian, I am aware that we are all created in the spiritual image of God and, as such, we have no right to shed an innocent's blood To do so is to go directly against the will of God
Here is the website of a woman who was a "rape baby" Had her mother aborted her, there would not be this woman to bring such a message of hope to the youth of today

Well, when you're not ready or are raped (or both) abortion may look very tempting. Maybe the mother and father are poor and can't afford to raise a kid and/or don't want a kid to grow up in bad circumstances. If it was an accident or something (between teenagers, let's say), the parents of both parties may refuse to support the child, and they could end up being on their own with no education, job, or money.
On the other hand (the one I personally agree with), abortion can be considered the murder of, perhaps not just a baby, but of the potential for someone in this world to make an impact. I had a teacher that was the result of a rape: he was a wonderful preacher, a brilliant teacher, a great friend, a caring father, and a faithful husband. The last I saw him, he knew everyone around and had a strange way of making everyone feel like even if the world were coming to an end, things would turn out alright and even if it didn't you could make the best of it while you were still amongst the living. Just imagine if his mother had chosen abortion...he would have never been born and never would have made such a strong impact. Every baby has that potential: I can't see how anyone would squash that for anything. I guess it depends on the person, and that the mother herself ought to have the right to choose, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Hope that helps with your paper.

If you make the decision to have sex either unprotected or protected I believe that you have to be prepared for an unexpected pregnancy.
It comes with it.
Any one who resorts to abortion is murdering their child, now on the subject of rape I still think that the child deserves a chance.
I was raped about 3 years ago and it resulted in a child, I made the decision to give the baby up for adoption and she is now a happy two year old.
I can't imagine her not being in the loving arms of her new family who can give her the love that I can't.
so yes I am pro-life no matter the circumstances.
Abortion was not safe before Roe vs. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision
that legalized the procedure, and the dirty little secret is, it may be
even less safe today - even in the privacy of our own homes.
We have more laws safeguarding the animals we take to the vet than we have
safeguarding the health of the 1.3 million women a year who have abortions.
Radical feminist groups that have aggressively promoted this $90
billion-a-year industry have contributed to the current climate.
Furthermore, the abortion drug RU-486, which was approved by the Food and
Drug Administration in September of 2000, may be one of the most dangerous
- as well as traumatic - ways to terminate a pregnancy.
A citizens petition was delivered to the Food and Drug Administration last
week by one of this nation's largest women's organizations and two
physicians groups designed to force the agency to take another look at the
abortion drug RU-486, Mifeprex, and its prostaglandin chaser, Misoprostol.
The process of abortion is very painful for both the child and mother, there are many methods and most doctors wont tell you that the baby undergo tremendous pain when it is forcefully pulled from the womb, mine told me point blank,(yes he is pro-choice)how much pain that they feel.
there is salting out which burns off the skin of the baby and is potentially harmful to the mother if the salt gets into the bloodstream.
The D&C cuts the baby into small pieces and then the doc suctions them out, this is also potentially harmful to the mother
is there are any pieces left in the womb which can cause serious infection and even death.
And then there is forced delivery in which they make the mother go into forced labor and deliver the baby, then they leave the baby to die of neglect and exposure by its self.
these are just some of the procedures.
So to any one who tell you that abortion is not painful then have them google abortion baby's pain
Women face injuries to the uterus, cervix, urinary tract, infection, hemorrhage, heart failure, embolism, sterilizations, ruptured Abortion Medical Safety, abortion side effects, health and safety of abortions, medical care, side-effects intestines & bowels, coma, and even death. In addition, there are countless cases of abortionists sexually abusing their clients while under anesthesia. In fact, you're four times more likely to die in the year following your abortion (see report). Further, woman who have abortions suffer mental health declines, while those who deliver their child actually have improved mental health .

Humans are sexually reproducing organisms. The life of any sexually reproducing orgainism, as any middle school life science student knows, begins at the moment of fertilization. Another basic theorem of science is that organisms produce their own kind. Simian beings produce simian offspring. Feline beings produce feline offspring. Human beings produce human offspring. Therefore any being resulting from the union of human gametes is a human being. Therefore the life of a human being begins at the moment of fertilization. Murder is defined as the premeditated killing of a human being. Therefore abortion is murder.
Those who would legalize such murders hide behind rhetoric and avoid using accurate terms. For example, they use the term "fetus" rather than "baby" when arguing for abortion (which doesn't make any real difference since "fetus" is merely one stage in the life of a human being), but don't ask a pregnant woman when her fetus is due. They claim the fetus is not "a person", rather than "a human being", precisely because "person" is an ethereal term with no precise definition, and basically means whatever you define it to mean, while the reality - that the fetus is a being who is 100% human - is clearly defined and absolute. They speak of "products of conception" (which of course is exactly what we all are) rather than "unborn child". Their arguments are intentionally deceptive and evasive because the factual truth is so hideous that no rational person who looked at it honestly could possibly accept it.
