I only wish I'd said yes on rare occasions to a marriage proposal I received at age 20.
We were way too young, so it's probably for the best.
But there are times I'm sorry he got away.

A girl in High School liked me and I didn't have the guts to do anything about it, and it still kills me to this day. We still keep in contact, and I think the feeling is still underlying.
I also got invited to a party with a girl who probably would have done me but I didn't go either... I'm such a nerd. But the first scenario is more important.

I tend to do the opposite, saying yes to someone then regret having done so.
I try not to go into certain situations blind, but sometimes, on the spur of the moment (usually involving alcohol) I just go for it.

Like the time back in Canada in grade school and I was playing spin the bottle and little Pammy Anderson (who had braces and was as flat as a board) spun me... we went into the closet and I didn't kiss her !!! Yeah... maybe I shouldn't have wussed out huh ???

and told my friend that he likes me LoL

and when the time came he asked me out
and i said NO but now i don't regret it
