Hi, I need help from those who know about the Vaio VGN-N320E laptop running vista please.?

well, usually when I change the volume and/or the brightness on my Laptop, this small thing pops up showing the volume and/or brightness meter, recently this has dissappeared and doesn't show up anymore, now to see the volume level i need to bring my mouse into the taskbar and to see the brightnesss i need to open up display settings, Can't anyone help bring my thing that pops up back?!

That's the way therest of us do it. but if sony has a program that will do it sorta like dell's "quickset", reinstall that. Or roll your system back to before the issue manifested itself
