Yup, everything from pennies to $500. I found $500 in a money-clip, about three years ago, at the edge of our front yard. I turned it in to the police department after asking people in our neighborhood if they had lost some money. But it remained unclaimed, so it was returned to me.

I used to find money all the time. When I was in high school I would get up early on the weekends to look in the parking lots and sidewalks near bars. I'd come away with $10 or $20 most weekends and at least once a $50. I never found a $100 bill but that was over 20 years ago and not many people carried such big bills then. You just gave me some incentive to get out walking. Thanks!

Yes.
Good story with it.
It was a 50 cent piece. By a coke machine.
At a gas station.
Near a senior citizen home.
The owner drilled a hole in the concrete, put some strong glue, and pushed the 50 cent piece into the hole.
Senior citizens would drive up in their cadillacs, see the money at the machine, get on their hands and knees and try to dig the 50 cents out of the ground with their car keys!!
Amazingly funny!!

I still feel guilty about this one, but years ago in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada I saw money drop from a man's pocket as he was crossing the street coming toward me, going the other way. I scooped up the 20 dollar bill and kept walking. I worked for Boston Pizza for $2.00 per hour at the time...so $20 was kind of a lot of money to me then.....a guy at work found $3500 in an empty case of beer at the brewery I work in. Probably a bunch of drunken gamblers forget where the stash of money went.......

From now on I'm going to follow your brother around!
The most I ever found on the ground was a $5 bill and it actually was in a snow bank that was thawing out one February afternoon in the huge downtown area of Berea. I took a chance that the person who dropped it, probably in December, wasn't coming back to get it.
Recently at Thistledown racetrack several dollars fell from a table a man and his wife was sitting at & I chased them down before they left the building to give it back to them. It was the only thing to do.

No. I found a quarter yesterday... not very much dough, though!
Tell your younger brother that I lost $100 the other day... Ha ha!!
I think your might be a little "too lucky"... Where is he getting the money--really?

I sometimes find like $1 coins. Which I keep. Once I found $50, but I handed it in. Sometimes I am just too honest for my own good.

I found $50 in the slush when getting a taxi once!
And last night, I dreamt that I found thousands of dollars in the grass.
I cant decide which was better!
