You should be able to download drivers from the Lexmark website - just make sure you match them to your printer's model (X1270). If you have trouble, you can probably email tech support from the same website. Just google Lexmark!

The lexmark website will have the latest version on their site. It might even be an upgrade from the cd that shipped with the printer.

Well I am not sure where you put the disk, however you can download the driver directly from lexmark's website.
Here is the link, you will find the drivers in the middle of the page.
