He is learning his lessons the hard way now. Only now, when winning time is gone, does he appreciate what he had when Shaq was there and winning was easy.
He's finally realizing that scoring lots of points isn't what it's cracked up to be, especially when you're losing.
I think he thought he could be a one man wrecking crew, and although he scores, he never developed into a team leader, a guy team mates looked up to.

First of all. Kobe did not run Shaq off the team. It was Mr. Busses decision. He's the owner. Not Kobe. Mr. Busses decision to trade Shaq was the right decision. Your forgetting Kobe led the Lakers in assists for the pest 3 years. But when his teammates don't make the shots. Kobe has no choice but to step up and take over the game. Lamar Odom has been in the league for some time and hasen't been the dominate player as to say Garnett, Vince Carter, Ray Allen, Duncan ,or Kobe. He's not the second gun and they can get one if they play their cards right. Lakers organization is high in prestige and can attract great talent. Everybody is just to impatient. Look at Jordan. It took him over 5 years to get his first nba title. Kobe will bring the title back to L.A. soon. But his supporting cast needs to be replaced. Their just not getting the job done. And it's hard on Kobe. Cause all the blame is on him. He's doing his job. when his teammates are going 3 for 15 in a game, you can't blame this on Kobe.

Every news article criticizing him for his calling for Jerry West to be brought in is based on a single ESPN article authored by Ric Bucher. The Bucher article states that Kobe is *demanding* that Jerry West be given full authority as GM or that he be traded.
Directly contradicting that article, Bryant explicitly articulates that he is not issuing any type of ultimatum to the team, that he is just stating his opinions of what would be beneficial for the team and that he thinks Jerry West's participation in any form would be helpful.
However, as with most Kobe Bryant coverage, the minute any possible negative interpretation on his conduct or character is available, the national media will jump directly to all the worst possible conclusions.
On this point, I remember the tremendous media outrage over his "unnatural basketball acts" - which were termed elbows to defensive players' faces via awkward looking flailing of his arms after his shots - even though each hit was actually an open hand by Bryant. The league officials made his suspensions very public and even a public announcement that a very different elbow flail (that did not make contact with anyone) in a subsequent game was upgraded to a flagrant-2. The media outrage was severe and crucified him.
Lebron James' very real elbow to Chris Webber's face as Webber was standing behind him on defense was almost an identical motion to Bryant's flails, except James did in fact land the elbow to the face that the media hyped Bryant's flails as. When the no-call was later upgraded to a flagrant-2, it was done without public announcement. Ironically, the only article directly addressing the elbow was published by James' hometown newspaper.
It should be noted that all players who were hit by the flails (Ginobili, Jaric, Webber) have acknowledged that they did not feel that the strikes to the face were intentional by either player. Additionally, Stu Jackson explicitly stated that Bryant's first suspension was based on the fact that the play was "unnatural" and unlike anything that normally occurs in basketball play - apparently James would disagree with that sentiment. Stu Jackson also clearly stated that Bryant's second suspension was based on the precedent of the first that had to be followed - a precedent he broke for James' mere flagrant-2.

My strategies on Lin are that he's a ultimate participant with a ultimate physique of strategies. He has dazzling imaginative and prescient, quickness, agility, athleticism. he's a devastating at penetrating to the basket. He has shown psychological durability hitting countless massive photos. yet he remains a youthful, uncooked participant. He has dedicated extra turnovers than the different NBA participant in historic previous via their first starts. precise now Lin is popping the ball over extra desirable than all people else interior the league evening in and evening out. i'm no longer attempting to do away with from his expertise, nor am I attempting to declare he's no longer an instantaneous action picture star. Jeremy Lin will advance on protection, shrink down on turnovers, and benefit some weight. while he does he would be a valid risk to signify the east in a all-action picture star game. I hate Kobe Bryant yet his teammates end that game. regardless of if he did no longer have his terrific overall performance he nonetheless went perplexing in the time of his minutes. Kobe has extra authority to call out gamers besides. he's very nicely completed and it may be tedious just to record the excuses he's authorized to declare what he needs. Lin has fairly been correct for 2 weeks. he's on no account able to make a adverse public remark a pair of teammate or perhaps opponent. perhaps he will on no account make a remark even while he's nicely ordinary yet at this factor he in basic terms won't be able to.

Kobe is pouting because they have no one on the team of trade value but him. They have no one to trade, no one wants Lamar or Luke. Bynum maybe but the Laker Dynasty is over. The only way they will get better is through free agency. Stop paying alot of money on mediocer players, Vladamir and Smush. Kobe keeps gets them in the playoffs all by himself. The new New Dynasty will be the Blazers after the Mavs/Suns/Spurs get old.

here we go again do you know the real reason why shaq left huh ? It was west who got rid of shaq not kobe, kobe is not the general manager. Last time I checked It was shaq who got rid of the dynasty because without shaq the team knew they wouldn't be a championship team so they left out on kobe. I would pout too if I had a sorry a.s.s gm who wasn't doing his job right, lets hire west again so the lakers can get some support for kobe and win again.
Go Lakers!

Kobe's supporting players suck and do not play consistently. Take a look at his current team, there isn't anyone who has as much experience as kobe. Even if shaq were still on this lakers team they would still have lost. He doesn't want help, he just wants his teammates to step up to the challenge.

I'm not quite sure I follow your logic. Just because he wants to be "the man" doesn't preclude him from wanting capable teammates. Every Batman needs a Robin.
