You are probably dizzy from low blood sugar. Since your calorie needs go way up in pregnancy you will probably wake up hungrier than usual. This can cause headaches, nausea and dizziness.

Believe it or not, some pregnant women actually get up in the middle of the night for a quick snack to avoid that feeling in the morning.

I never could do that, but I did keep a snack at my bedside to eat when I first woke up. I also got out of bed very slowly to let my head clear.

The headaches could also be due to pregnancy hormones. Some women get awful headaches in early pregnancy. I got bad ones occassionally and they were NOT related to hunger. So you might try the food trick for dizziness and if it doesn't relieve the headaches, too, then reach for some Tylenol.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

You should eat more and check with your doctor.
