I really like the good things in life. I love it when I dine at fancy restaurants or pamper myself with a day at the salon. I feel like I have earned these things because I work hard and spent a long time in school.

I do not have time to do work at home, so I have hired a maid. I like to have people wait on me at the salon. Simple drudgery tasks can be done by someone else who chose that position in life.

I personally do not think I am high maintenance, but I am not sure what that entails.

People who are high maitenance have a tendency to desire a lot of attention and compliments from what I understand. You do not sound like you are high maitenance to me, you are just really busy and I agree that it is okay to hire someone to do for you the services that they offer.

You're not high maintenance. Many women follow your same routine... salon, personal trainer, wait staff, second homes, first row run way seats, personal secretary, etc..... but not many would be so callous to say of the people who serve them...

".....someone else who CHOSE that position in life."

Tsk, tsk.

Someone who is high maintenance requires a lot of attenetion. They need someone there to compliment them and basically make them feel like their the best. (that's just what i've heard)

As long as you are maintaining those things yourself, I don't think it's considered high maintenance. I think that label gets applied when you start depending on someone else to provide those things for you.

It entails an obnoxious sense of entitlement at all other people's expense.
