i'd lose the touch, and keep the smell.
smell tells more than touch.
a blind person can move around with smell,
and does not really have to touch too much...
also, God's free world of beauty can be enjoyed with smell, and does not necessarily require touch.
i can smell the fresh air, the fresh rain, freshly baked bread,etc...
ya, i'll lose the touch.

well my sense of smell is not up to much any way so i would keep the sense of touch actually ill rephrase that my sense of smell is not in existence

Wow, I'm not actually surprised to see everybody pick keeping touch. Is it our desire for human companionship? The dreading feeling of being on our own? Our willing to risk smelling everything just for comfort? Things we can wonder, yes, and while you do that, I would have to agree and pick touch, I'd keep touch.

touch definitely. My grandma was born without the sense of smell and she lived a very happy and full life. Changing diapers were never a problem for her :-)
Plus, if we couldn't touch, we wouldn't be able to participate in P&S

I think I would keep the sense for touch,I would handle myself without smelling.You know,I have that horrible habit to smell everything before I eat something,so I would be glad if I loose it. =))

i would keep my touch. i cant live without feeling physical affection.
edit: for all the ppl who say smell, if it didnt smell good, i wouldnt touch it. what if it smells wonderful, and u feel like touching it so bad, it will be a problem. but if it looks great and u touch it, it will feel amazing.

Touch! I own a few boxers (dogs not people) and their gas makes me wish that I had no sense of smell! LOL

touch, without a doubt. Not to sound like a perve but if you lost the sense of touch would that mean that its just in your fingers? cause if you couldn't feel with other parts of your body, then I think I would like to loose sight, taste, and scent, before touch.

I would have to give up smell. Touch is so important and I can't imagine not being able to feel anything. That would be terrible and dangerous!
