I could care less what society thinks. Society already has it's own thoughts which are crooked, biased, superficial and prejudice. I am affected by alot of these. Most of it is not fair. So for me to not go out with someone because of what society thinks would just make me look like a hyprocrite that supports the views of society that are prejudice against me.
So, my answer is no, society's viewpoint would not matter in that situation. If that person makes me happy than that's all that counts. Sorry for my little rant...lol

If that were the only reason, no. But then again I've never cared that much what 'society' thinks. As much as we (as social animals) need society, the taboos and morals of any society are not the only guidance anyone should go by. It's a personal decision though, depends on how much you personally need societal approval.

No.... no way who would you be going out with them and the whole of society or them and you?.... society cannot be pleased at the best of times so live your life for you.

I will go with such a person only if he is absolutely important to me and I feel he is unjustifiably slandered. Otherwise I will not mingle with him just to defy the society,,,,,,,,

before I used to worry about what people would think about it, but as I grow older, I realized, its not what other people think but rather you being happy w/ that person or enjoying that person's company is what actually matters
